UN World Peace Day Celebrated Around the World
"Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly of the UN has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples."
H.H. Vishwaguru Swami Maheshwarananda gave a lecture in London, on the World Peace Day.
In Om Ashram, Jadan, Pali district, Rajasthan, India on 21st September UN World Peace Day was celebrated. Residents of ashram together with the villagers and school children held peace prayer and lighted a deepak, symbol of light and peace.
