International Day of Peace 2024: Jaipur, India
Celebrating the International Day of Peace
On 21 September 2024, we, the Sri Swami Madhavanand World Peace Council (SSMWPC) – an established international NGO recognised by the United Nations ECOSOC – held a special program to commemorate the International Day of Peace at Vishwaguru Deep Ashram in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
As part of the celebration, a new WORLD PEACE TREE was planted near the Vishwaguru Deep Ashram in Jaipur, adding to the hundreds of World Peace Trees planted by SSMWPC members in dozens of countries worldwide.
The International Day of Peace serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity, harmony and global cooperation for a peaceful future – values exemplified by our esteemed speakers, who have demonstrated profound dedication to the well-being and progress of society.
The event was attended by hundreds of people and featured the following key speakers:

- Shri Kuldeep Ranka (I.A.S.), Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment,

The program was broadcast to 11 countries, amplifying the message of peace to a global audience.
